All children are encouraged, and expected, to treat people with respect. Bullying is not permitted.
‘In accordance with the latest directive from the government (i.e. Section 550A), all staff, teaching and non teaching, as authorised by the Headteacher, may, on rare occasions, need to use reasonable force to restrain a pupil who may cause injury to themselves, others or property – or who is compromising good order and discipline in a classroom or elsewhere.
Parents will always be informed when their child has been involved in such an incident.’
If a child’s behaviour gives serious cause for concern, parents will be invited to discuss the problem with the Headteacher, in order to assess both causes and solutions.
