Information about possible school closure (due to bad weather)

It is always a difficult decision to close a school because of bad weather. We have to take into account
• Safe access to the school and around the building
• Can staff get to school?
• Can lunches be delivered from Eccleshall?
• Will you be able to collect your children from school if conditions get worse

We will let you know just as soon as we can via our email service. If we do not have your email address check regularly on our website for news or look at the Staffordshire County Council school closures web page (click here)

You will make your own decision whether to set out to school. If you decide to keep your children at home leave a message on our answerphone (absence line). All absences due to bad weather are authorised.

All Saints is a Church school situated in the village of Ranton, in rural Staffordshire. We are delighted to accept children between the ages of 3 and 11 (nursery to Year 6). We have experienced rapid growth since 2016 and we are looking forward to an exciting future!

In September 2017 there will be 64 children in the school in 3 mixed age classes. All classes have access to excellent classroom support and learning resources. We have a delightful environment for pupils to learn in what a recent inspection called ‘A haven of tranquility and peace.’ (SIAMS December 2015).

Our links with All Saints church are very strong and the school is an important part of the community.  Staff work hard to provide opportunities for children to enjoy a variety of learning experiences inside and outside school. The children get the opportunities to learn inside and outside the classroom, especially in our weekly Forest School sessions. All children in the school are given the opportunity to learn to swim, or further develop their skills in the water over the course of the school year.

Please enjoy looking at our website, and we would love to show you round so you can see our school for yourselves.

Please contact us for a prospectus or registration details. These will both be available online soon.

All Saints C.E. (C) Primary School & Nursery provides a Christian, caring community where all individuals (children and adults) are respected and valued.
